IWL returns for one more
show this year
Even though we made the announcement that Sicko Sircus was our last show for the
year, we decided to give IWL fans a Christmas gift! One more show before the end
of the year "WRECK THE HALLS 2"!
"Cutler's Last
Stand...With Their Heads Up High"
At Sicko Sircus, the wrestling world bid farewell to the Cutler Bros, an
awesome tag team that have decided to leave the business for their own
personal reasons. The Insane Wrestling League felt that they should have one
more chance to have that last hurrah, and this match took place at Sicko
Sircus (soon to be on DVD)! Not only did they win their last match, but they
also won the IWL Tag Team Championship, allowing them to leave with their
heads held high. This is what happened post match.
"A Gentleman Bows Out"
The Cutlers weren't the only ones to say goodbye to the wrestling world. IWL
star "Cast Iron" Cothern also had his final stand at Sicko Sircus,
successfully defeating real life friend Tyler Bateman in a terrific match up.
Cothern has accomplished in his time with the IWL, holding the Anarchy
Championship, and just having some classic match ups against many other IWL
stars. He will be missed by everyone in the Insane Wrestling League. Here are
his final moments post match.
IWL Announces School!
Yes its true, the IWL school was announced at Sicko Sircus! This has
been a long time coming, as the IWL has been looking to open a
school for some time. Check out these words from the boss, and if
you want more info, join the IWL mailing list! Send and email saying
your interested to insanewl321@yahoo.com and you will automatically
be in on all the exclusive updates about the school and other IWL
happenings!
UPDATE: A pricing plan for the school has been decided, which will
be sent out by early next week to all on the mailing list!
Johnny Saovi Last Man
Standing in the Sicko Sircus
Rumble!
Johnny Saovi officially became the 3rd ever winner of the Sicko Sircus
Rumble! Entering number 7, Saovi outlasted 19 other people to earn a
shot at Paul London's IWL World Heavyweight Championship. We will
have more information on when he will be cashing in this shot as we
get it.
One thing Saovi has to be concerned about is the Sircus curse. You
see, the previous two winners both lost when they received their
respective title shots. Will Saovi be the first to break this curse? Or
will he join the growing list of wrestlers to win the rumble, but choke
when it comes to cashing it?
Cross
Strikes @ Sicko Sircus, Releases Video
After claiming to have QUIT the IWL, Cross made a surprise
appearance at the last show, disguising himself as a fan, and
attacking Johnny Saovi during the rumble. Cross was promptly kicked
out of the venue by security, screaming profanities the whole way out.
Johnny Saovi was the man who cost Eric Cross his ownership in his
match against Vic Luna @ Justice For Brawl, and is now looking for
revenge. Recently, Cross cut this video explaining his actions at the
Sircus. Check it out, and see what Cross has to say.
Rosas
Brutally Attacks Kadillak After Title Match!
After both losing to Paul London in a triple threat match for the World
Heavyweight Championship, Kadillak grabbed the mic and decided to
let bygones be bygones, and bury the hatchet. He extended his hand to
Rosas, to which Rosas shook it and they raised each others hands,
making it look like these two have finally settled their differences. Well
it wasn't to be, because Rosas knocked Kadillak down, and proceeded
to piledrive him right on his head! Sticking the middle finger to the
crowd and Kadillak, Rosas walked out, claiming he's the better man.
We won't know what's going to happen with these two when the IWL
returns, but its clear these two have unsettled business.
Ryke &
Ground Zero Rivalry Far From Over!
Knox and Ryke finally went at it in the Sicko Sircus Rumble! In fact,
they took it all over the place! They brawled outside the ring, outside
the building, only to return later on near the end of the rumble where
Knox eliminated himself, then help Watts eliminate Ryke. Ryke can't
be happy that his former ally has not only become his enemy, but has
also cost him a chance to once again become World Heavyweight
Champion. We don't know when these two will finally meet face to
face, but we can assure you these two will NOT be taking it easy on
each other when they do. These two have so much anger and
aggression toward each other, it will be more of a fight than a match.
London
& B Retain Their Respective Titles!
Paul London has been a dominant champion ever since capturing it at
New Era 6. He has been taking on anyone and everyone who has
challenged him. Who will dethrone the Intrepid Traveler? Now that
Johnny Saovi is once again #1 Contender, will he learn from his
previous loss to London and dethrone the reigning champ?
Not to take away from Famous B, who had an impressive victory
against Candice LeRae and Peter Avalon at Sicko Sircus! While his
reign is still young, B has shown he has what it takes to be a
successful champion. What does the future hold for the 6th ever
Anarchy Champion?
